About Rochester

Rochester is a small village and civil parish in north Northumberland, England within Northumberland National Park. It lies five miles north-west of Otterburn on the A68, which runs from Darlington to Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland.

The civil parish extends from the village north-west to the border of Scotland and England at the Carter Bar, widely acknowledged as the most scenic point on the border.
